Piicca — Minecraft Building Guide | piicca.com
An ordered procedure from site choice and foundation to roof, door and torches, with a block budget for each stage.
Start with the site. Pick flat ground, mark a 7×7 to 9×9 outline — the practical first-house footprint — and dig the floor one block down. The dig doubles as your first cobblestone supply if you are cutting through stone.
Raise the walls 3 to 4 blocks high on the outline. Three blocks lets you move under the ceiling; four blocks gives headroom above a bed and leaves a clear band for torches. Count the wall blocks as you go: a 9×9 house with 4-block walls uses about 140.
Close the roof with the same block count as the floor — 49 for a 7×7, 81 for a 9×9 — and cut one door gap. Place the door before nightfall so the footprint is sealed while you finish the interior.
On narrow screens, swipe or scroll the plate sideways.
Furnish with four blocks: bed, chest, crafting table, furnace. They fit in a 7×7 room with a block to spare on each wall for torches, which is what the lighting pass needs.
Finish with the lighting pass. Walk every wall and corner with torches, confirm no block reads light 0, then light the path outside the door with the same rule. Keep one spare stack of wall material in the chest for blast repairs.
The whole build fits one inventory run at 7×7 and two at 9×9; see the materials table for what to carry and the lighting page for the torch spacing.
